Weight Loss Tips that Work

Weight loss tips that work can be found in various places online, but just how many of them are for real? I mean, you can go looking at a post with a title just like this one has and expect to find the holy grail of the weight conscious, but then come away disappointed. Why is that? Well. lets take a look at why some things just work for some people and why other things don’t, but they work just fine for other people!

The first thing that gets people scratching their heads is the fallacy of dieting. Everyone and their dog jumps on a new diet that comes out surrounded by a ton of hype and clever advertising, only to find that in the long run it wasn’t any better than your granny’s diet of vegetable soup and fish. Ok, I just made that up, but it just shows that anything can be thought of as a “diet” and if there’s enough media hype to push it, it’ll sell like the hot cakes you won’t be eating any time soon!

What it boils down to is that people are all different in their makeup, lifestyles and characters and its that combination of differences that will mean one specific diet will work brilliantly for one person yet fail their best friend miserably! So what I’m trying to get across here is that there is just no “one size fits all” diet for everyone!

So when it comes to diets, a weight loss tip that works is to ignore all the claims that any diet makes and go see your own personal professional dietitian or nutritionist who will be able to tailor your own diet to your specific needs, makeup and lifestyle. Then you will have something to work with that stands a much better chance of working for you. Just don’t pass it on to your friend in case it doesn’t work for them!

So then we move away from diets and come to the other side of the coin when it comes to losing weight and that’s exercise. Well, actually, losing weight really only has two sides when you think about it logically. You need a good diet so you don’t load your body up with too much fat, sugar and empty calories and you need to exercise to burn off the excess.

So one of the prime weight loss tips that works is simply to get a good diet and then to exercise daily to ensure your metabolism is working at peek efficiency to burn off the excess calories and cause your weight to fall while toning your body up so you look better.

One last tip that absolutely works for every person who wants to lose weight:

Don’t cheat.

If you apply that last tip, then you multiply your chances of success a hundredfold! It works with everybody and it works every time as long as you’re honest with yoruself. Because the bottom line is that there is only one person who wants to lose weight here and that person is you. No one else will do it for you, so if you cheat, you are only cheating yourself. That’s a priceless piece of information, by the way!

Good luck and don’t give up and don’t cheat!

Weight Loss Hypnosis

Weight loss hypnosis is a subject that is getting a good deal of publicity these days thanks to its rather uncommonly high success rate. In fact, of all the so called alternative methods of losing weight, hypnotherapy is the most successful of them all and that includes acupuncture, reflexology, aromatherapy, herbal remedies and many others. So what’s this form of aid to those looking to lose weight all about then? Let’s take a look at what’s basically involved and how you can benefit from this rapidly up and coming means of weight loss.

For those that don’t know much about hypnosis, there are a number of very good websites that explain in in depth, so suffice it to say here that hypnosis is not magic or some kind of occult practice, nor is it a form of mind control or anything similarly sinister! In fact, hypnosis is very mundane and a normal state of consciousness that everyone experiences every day of their lives. They just don’t know it as hypnosis!

When you are between the state of wakefulness and full sleep when you go to bed at night, you are actually in a light state of hypnosis. So anyone who claims they cannot enter hypnosis is someone who never sleeps, otherwise they do it naturally every time they fall asleep. Another mundane form of the state is the daydream. When you are daydreaming, your mind is totally somewhere else and you have no idea what your body is doing at that precise moment. The second that you do, you have returned to normal consciousness and you are no longer daydreaming!

So, with the basics out of the way, we can see that hypnosis is merely a deeply relaxed physical state where your mind is similarly restful and you are still conscious but less aware of your surroundings. It is in this state that your mind is most receptive to well worded suggestions that can alter your habits from bad ones to good ones when done by a skilled hypnotherapist. The technique is used to get you to literally forget yoru bad eating habits and replace them with good ones while instilling a feeling that you want to do more exercise and be more active.

Suggestion therapy as its known is not a long lasting thing and your own sense of reason will kick back in relatively soon after a hypnotherapy session, which is why several are needed to really change a person’s eating habits for the better. As hypnosis for weight loss goes, it works for long enough for bad eating habits to be broken and replaced by good ones to the extent where the good habits become the perceived norm by the person receiving the treatment.

So that’s pretty much how it works and why it works and why, if you’ve tried many other methods of losing weight but they all failed, this could be a good alternative worth exploring.
